  • BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE

Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. Our doctors and staff can advise you on most behavior problems. We can also refer you to trained animal behaviorists who help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client.

  • DENTAL CARE

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasonic scaler to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Advanced dental care is available, including root canals. These procedures are done under anesthesia.  Home dental care products can also be provided.

  • ULTRASOUND

The RemoteVet Ultrasound Unit now allows us to peer inside your pet and get a look at the structure of various organs including the heart, liver, spleen, urinary bladder, prostate and kidneys.  Unlike X-rays that show the size and shape of various organs, ulrasound gets a look at the internal structure of the organs in detail.  Through telemedicine, veterinarians at Suburban Animal Clinic are able to consult with various specialists by sending images of ultrasound studies, X-rays, blood test results and biopsy reports to improve the medical care your pet receives.
